OF THE IV INTERNATIONAL FORUM
"FUEL AND ENERGY COMPLEX OF UKRAINE: THE PRESENT AND THE FUTURE"
The IV International Forum "Fuel and Energy Complex of Ukraine: the Present and the Future" took place on September 26-29, 2006 in the territory of the International Exhibition Center, (15 Brovarsky Ave, Kyiv).

In the Official Forum opening ceremony took part representatives of Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and Verkhovna Rada, Council of national safety and defense, representatives of international organizations in Ukraine, Officials of Department and national companies, Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine and Ministry of Coal Industry.
At opening ceremony greetings to participants and visitors of the Forum from the Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Janukovych and the President of Ukrainian Union of manufacturers and businessmen Anatoliy Kinakh have been proclaimed.
The exhibition have been opened by the First deputy of minister of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine Vadym Chuprun .The high level of preparation of expositions with demonstration of working models, technics, equipment and well prepared participant's presentations furthered to the professional dialogues and discussions of manufacturers.
The central exposition of FEC of Ukraine was represented by: National Joint Stock Company "Energy Company of Ukraine", National Power Generating Company "Ukrenergo", Ministry of Coal Industry, Joint Stock Company "Kyivenergo", State Owned Foreign Economic Relations Company "Ukrinterenergo", JSC "Ukrnafta".
The exposition of "Nuclear Energy of Ukraine" made up special place, it united 27 enterprises of nuclear energy branch near NNEGC SE "Energoatom" 's stand . The "Enrgoatom", which had celebrated this year the 10th anniversary of activity of the company, have prepared substantial exposition with demonstration of modern conditions and perspectives of development nuclear energy in Ukraine. The most interesting things for guests of the Forum were models of nuclear stations and exposition of Isolated Subdivision "Emergency Technical Center". Today this Center is unique due to its technique and highly professional staff.
The questions of condition and perspective of developing FEC of Ukraine were covered in business program of International Forum. These subjects were examined at the round-table discussions:

"Nuclear Energy Day", which was devoted to the 10th anniversary cooperation with JSC "TVEL", was saturated with different events. Among them was the round table discussion "the 10th anniversary of "Energoatom"-results, prospects of developing and cooperation". Representatives of nuclear energy branch of Ukraine and Russia underlined the importance of developing and intensification relationship between countries in nuclear energy
The most active participant of the Forum, relative to represented shell scheme booth, number of participants, with saturated program of technical councils and presentations of priority investment projects, conducted business negotiations and meetings was National Joint Stock Energy Company "Energy Company of Ukraine"
98 participants of the round-table discussion "Prospects of integration process of Energy System of Ukraine, CIS states and UCTE European Energy System" have noted the high level of the holding events of National Power Generating Company "Ukrenergo". Many domestic and foreign specialists were interested in substantial and interesting public speaking, presented informational materials and thematic exposition with demonstration at electrified maps of United Energy System of Ukraine and first stage of integration into UCTE.
More than 20 practical-scientific conferences, seminars and presentations were organized by Forum's participants: "Ukrmetrteststandart" SE, Corporation "Must-Ipra", Corporation "Microsoft", Company, "General Electric Energy", Company "Schneider Electric", "Samgas-Rivne" LTD, "Westron" LLC, Plant "Krasnyi Kotelschyk", "Koda" LTD, "Gasenergocomplect" JSC.
There were 280 companies and enterprises (more than 2 000 specialists) from 12 countries of the world in the Forum. Among them were specialists from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Austria, Belgium, Romania, Great Britain, Germany, Russia, Poland, France, Finland and USA.
The size of exposition of the Forum made up 8300 sq.m. There were equipment and service for electric power, oil-and-gas, coal industries, enterprises of industrial complex and housing and utilities infrastructure.
IV International Forum achieved considerable increase concerning the entry list and range of products: energy and electrical equipment, devices and systems of energy and heat power accounting, control and measuring instruments, systems of industrial automation, which are used in fuel and energy complex and in all branches of industry.
