The Exhibition is carried out with the support of Ministry of Ukraine of Emergencies and on Affairs of Population Protection from the Consequences of Chernobyl Catastrophe, Ministry of Industry Policy of Ukraine, Security Service of Ukraine, State Frontier Service of Ukraine, State Inspection Service of Ukraine for Export.
Participants: 148 leading enterprises-manufacturers of means of protection, arms and special equipment from Ukraine, Russia, Belarus, Poland, Germany, Lithuania, USA.
Visitors: directors and experts of power ministries and agencies responsible for resource provision and purchases, operator-experts of means and technologies of security, experts of designing, mounting and construction organizations, representatives of special units of power ministries and agencies of Ukraine (representatives of district, regional departments, etc), directors and members of industry enterprises security service, credit and financing enterprises, transport infrastructure, trading and entertainment complexes, directors and experts of hunting areas, arms and hunting enterprises, representatives of manufacturers and distributors of light industry, other state and commercial enterprises.
Main tasks of the exhibition: assistance to improvement of technical equipment of law enforcement and power structures providing security of persons, property, society and state, are responsible for defense of the country and security of state border, fighting against terrorism, search and promotion of prospective developments of new types of arms, military and special purpose equipment, development of military and technical cooperation of Ukraine with other foreign countries.
Founded in 2004 the exhibition "Arms and Security" was purposed for demonstration of scientific and industry potential of Ukraine in the sphere of production of means of protection, security and armament. For the time of realization it proved the right of Ukraine to have high scale forum of means of protection, arms and armament, special equipment. For the past time this event gained weight among domestic and foreign manufacturers of mentioned products.
The subject of the exhibition "Arms and Security - 2007" covers the whole possible specter of products and technologies in the sphere of security. In particular, it's the full complex of technical means and services for the enterprises, institutions, banks, hazardous objects and protection of citizens. The equipment for the power structures was presented: arms, special devices and ammunition, criminalistic equipment, garment, transport, military and special material, etc.
Indisputably, the widest crowds of visitors and not only professionals had the possibility of traditional review of the biggest in Ukraine exhibition of service, sporting, hunting arms and ammunition, optics, accessories - from the most accessible to exclusive samples.
Within the frames of opening ceremony there were held demonstration performances, where took part the MIA of Ukraine units: Sokil, Berkut, Titan, on releasing of the hostages and capturing of terrorists in transport vehicle with elements of close combat and with application of firearms and ammunition. Technique of arms and ceremony drills was demonstrated by the cadets of honor guard of MDIT of MIA of Ukraine.

The auditorium of visitors was provided with the help of wide campaign in the Mass media (press, TV, radio, Internet editions) and external advertising in the city, and address posting dispatch of invitations to over 50,000 addresses in Ukraine, CIS and European countries (state structures, interested central and local authority bodies, embassies, special organizations, industry and commercial enterprises, financial institutions).
According to the evaluation of the participants and guests of the Exhibition "Arms and Security", owing to unification on one ground of representatives of customers-ministries, non-governmental security agencies, business circles and community, gave the unique possibilities for successful marketing of all participants of arms and security industry market. Indisputable purposefulness of realization of the event was proved by application of the products firstly demonstrated at the booths annually not only by civil structures but power ministries and agencies.
